Planners Defer Reston Heights

The Fairfax County Planning Commission deferred until Nov. 28 a decision on the Reston Heights development during its public hearing Wednesday night. During the meeting, the planners reviewed JBG Companies’ Planned Residential Community plan to build more than 1 million square feet of retail, residential and office space near the corner of Wiehle Avenue and Reston Parkway. Frank A. de la Fe, Hunter Mill district representative on the Fairfax County Planning Commission, did not return calls by The Observer’s deadline Thursday.
