
Reston’s ‘best’ 01/23/2008 : Fairfax Times Reston’s ‘best’ Winners of the 17th annual Best of Reston awards, a mix of individuals and businesses, were announced on Thursday at the Reston Hyatt. The Reston Garden Club, John Coleman, Ruth Overton, VISTA Wealth Strategies and Judy Redpath, the volunteer ,medical providers of the Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic, The JBG Companies and Tetra Partnerships will all e honored at the Best of Reston Gala on April 24. An anonymous panel reviewed 30 nominees submitted in September and October of 2007 and chose winners that a press release from Reston Interfaith called “businesses, organizations and individuals who have put forth tremendous effort in their commitment to community service and improving the lives of others.” Sponsors at the “strategic” level, who donate $25,000, include two anonymous donors, Freddie Mac, The JBG Companies, Tetra Partnerships, The Mason Hirst Foundation, Northrop Grumman and the Reston Hospital Center/HCA Virginia. Sponsorships for the Gala are available for $500 and up, and details are available at www.restoninterfaith.org.

Reston’s ‘best’
